“Albany County has lost one of its staunchest advocates in the passing of Richard Meyers. He served the county, the country and our community as a member of the Albany County Legislature for 18 years, 15 of them as Majority Leader. He was a member of the National Guard, an attorney and a volunteer who served many non-profits. He was devoted to his family and viewed his children as his greatest achievement.”
