County Executive McCoy, Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy & ART Committee to Unveil Mural on Rail Trail
Vibrant artwork continues to fill Albany County and County Executive Daniel P. McCoy will be introducing yet another great piece on the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail.
The new mural will be unveiled on Monday, October 17 at 4:30pm on the Albany County Rail Trail at the intersection of Cherry Avenue in the Town of Bethlehem. Joining for the exciting event are partners of Albany County – the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy, the Art on the Rail Trail (ART) Committee, mural artist Fernando Orellana, Assembly Member Pat Fahy, Bethlehem Town Supervisor David VanLuven, and members of the Bethlehem Town Board.
The announcement is open to the public. Those who would like to attend can either park at the Slingerlands trailhead at 839 Kenwood Avenue or along Bridge Street and walk east down the Rail Trail to the mural’s location.
