Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy today announced two public meetings for a proposed Albany County Solar Project located at 897 Watervliet-Shaker Road in the Town of Colonie. 

County residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the plan in person at the first meeting on Thursday, March 23 at 5:30pm at the BOCES Career & Technical Education Center, 925B Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12205. A second meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, April 4 at 5:30pm, and participants can join by RSVP’ing to: CountyExecpublichearings@albanycountyny.gov.

Members of the public will later be able to provide their feedback on the renewable energy proposal following the presentations.
