New Lebanon Man Admits Guilt in Gun Store Burglary
Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced today that a New Lebanon man pleaded guilty for his role in a Colonie gun store burglary.
Paul Gervasio, 37, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree in Albany County Court in front of the Honorable William Little.
Gervasio and his co-defendant Willie Moses burglarized NY Shooter Supply in Colonie on Nov. 14, 2024, when 14 firearms were taken. He was identified as the getaway driver and was arrested by Colonie Police with assistance from Troy Police and ATF agents.
Albany Police helped in the arrest of Moses, who pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon on Jan. 22 and was sentenced to serve a 17-year state prison term.
Gervasio faces a state prison sentence of 10 years determinate plus five years of post-release supervision when he is sentenced on May 29.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Bryanne Brucato, Bureau Chief of the Street Crimes Unit.
