Albany County has numerous programs for youth through our Department for Children, Youth and Families, Parks and Recreation and our Probation Department. The County strives to build partnerships with willing participants, which is why we work closely with Sheriff Apple and support his efforts in the city. It’s time to focus on real solutions, take accountability for our actions, and move away from blame—whether it’s about a lack of programs or pointing fingers. Progress requires collaboration, not excuses. My office will be contacting city hall to get clarification on the Mayor's comments today.
