Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced today that a 56-year-old Albany man is heading to state prison for possessing a quantity of cocaine during a traffic stop.

Marc Inman was sentenced Thursday by the Honorable William Little to serve 10 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after he pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree.

On June 9, 2025, Deputies from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office observed a black Chevrolet Suburban traveling at a high rate of speed on South Swan Street. After a traffic stop, a police K-9 alerted Deputies to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle later revealed 1.1 kilograms of cocaine and 51 grams of fentanyl. The drugs were in packaging consistent with distribution.

Assistant District Attorney Bryanne Brucato, Chief of the Street Crimes Bureau, prosecuted the case.
