"The Albany County Department of Health was today notified of a concern related to Coronavirus at the Albany County Courthouse. After a careful assessment of the situation, the department of health has concluded that there is no current increased risk for individuals present in this building today. There has been no recommendation for coronavirus testing based upon this situation.

I held a briefing earlier today with the Albany County Health Commissioner to outline the facts related to COVID-19 and to avoid the spread of misinformation, which can cause undue concern and even panic.
