Due to Coronavirus Concerns Albany County Clerk Limits Services to Essential Business

Due to concerns about the coronavirus, Albany County Clerk Bruce Hidley has implemented the following policies effective 03/19/2020:
- Services in person will be limited to emergency court document filings only.
- Office hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
- All other legal documents can be filed via:
- eRecording
- eFiling

Until further notice, the following in-person services will be suspended:
- Passports
- Business Certificates
- Pistol Licenses & Amendments
- Notary Public
- Registrar & Notary Authentications/Apostilles
If mail submission is normally accepted, customers are encouraged to continue to submit in that manner. Utilization of www.albanycounty.com/clerk is suggested for searches, forms and additional information.
