Grounded in the voices of people with lived experience, healthcare providers, community leaders, and families, the campaign reflects a simple but powerful truth: recovery is possible, harm reduction is possible, prevention is possible, and community is possible. See how you can get involved.
Recovery Is Possible
For people currently using or at risk: opioid use disorder isn’t a character flaw. It’s a medical condition – one that often starts with a prescription. Recovery is real, and thousands of people in Albany County have found their way through.

Prevention Is Possible
Many people who develop opioid use disorder were first exposed through a prescription. Asking questions before you fill a prescription is prevention. Knowing the signs is prevention.

Harm Reduction Is Possible
Fentanyl is now found in cocaine, counterfeit pills, and other drugs. You don’t have to be an opioid user to be at risk. Naloxone and test strips are available at these locations to prevent a deadly overdose.
