This program focuses on providing services delivered by Public Health Nurses to the maternal and child health population to assure that women, infants, children and families achieve optimal health.

Services include:

• Prenatal, Postpartum, Infant, and Child nurse home visits
• Linkage to medical care
• Health education including Asthma education and Lead Poisoning Prevention education
• Public Health Detailing*

*Public Health Detailing is an outreach initiative where staff engage Health Care Providers to encourage and assist them in implementing a specific Public Health Initiative.
