If you have been directed to complete community service, it is up to you to decide where, but it must be done at a IRS-registered nonprofit or charitable organization.

Suggestions include, but are not limited to animal shelters, soup kitchens, shelters, churches, and libraries. It does not matter where the hours are completed, as long as it is for a charity or non-profit organization. (Doing work for a private business will not be acceptable.)
