The Albany County Legislative Black Caucus serves as a legislative voice for underrepresented and historically disenfranchised communities throughout Albany County.
We were established by Resolution No. 125 of 2018 with the mission to promote equity through policy, advocacy, and community engagement.
Each year, we organize and support a range of impactful events, including celebrations of Black History Month and Juneteenth; as well as spearheading the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive to help combat food insecurity across Albany County.
