The Albany County Legislature, in conjunction with the Albany County Executive’s Office and different County Departments, is offering funding for important programs in our community.

Grant applications must be submitted to the Albany County Legislature by email at Grants.Legislature@AlbanyCountyNY.gov.

     

    Anti-bullying and youth violence prevention: Grants (up to $20,000) to support anti-bullying and youth violence prevention programming. This funding is specifically targeted toward schools, after-school programs, and community-based organizations serving and engaging youth within Albany County. Learn more

    Parks & Playgrounds: Grants (up to $15,000) for upgrading current parks and playgrounds or developing new recreational facilities throughout the County, to help improve the lives of the residents and visitors of the County of Albany. Learn more

    Tobacco and substance use prevention in schools: Grants (up to $20,000) for programs addressing the alarming rise in tobacco, vaping, and substance use among teens and young adults. Learn more

    Women's health support: Grants (up to $20,000) for programs promoting women's health through education, service distribution, and promotion of resources, including specific programs such as health screenings, workshops, mental health services, and community outreach initiatives. Learn more

    NOTE - Organizations previously awarded in each area may still be eligible to receive funding if the funding is intended for new projects. However, preference will be given to new applicants.
