The Albany County Legislature, in conjunction with the Albany County Department of Health and the Albany County Executive’s Office is offering funding for important programs in our community.

Grant applications must be submitted to the Albany County Legislature by email at Grants.Legislature@AlbanyCountyNY.gov.

Anti-bullying and youth violence prevention: Individual grant awards of up to $20,000 to support anti-bullying and youth violence prevention programming. This funding is specifically targeted toward schools, after-school programs, and community-based organizations serving and engaging youth within Albany County. Learn more

Parks & Playgrounds: Individual grant awards up to $15,000 for upgrading current parks and playgrounds or developing new recreational facilities throughout the County, to help improve the lives of the residents and visitors of the County of Albany. Learn more

Tobacco and substance use prevention in schools: Individual grant awards of up to $20,000 for programs addressing the alarming rise in tobacco, vaping, and substance use among teens and young adults. Organizations previously awarded may still be eligible to receive funding. Learn more

Women's health support: Individual grant awards of up to $20,000 for programs promoting women's health through education, service distribution, and promotion of resources, including specific programs such as health screenings, workshops, mental health services, and community outreach initiatives.
