A Message from Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy

When we put out the Request for Proposal for the naming rights for the arena in 2021, we wanted more than a company that was looking to put its name up on the building. We wanted a partner and a plan to do something different that would have an impact on our community. MVP Health Care presented an idea and the Innovation Partnership was born.

I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. We have been collaborating since 2022 on projects that are improving lives and making a difference. Albany County and MVP Health Care are working with organizations and colleagues on a wide range of issues including fighting food instability, supporting programs to promote The Arts, STEM, physical fitness and encouraging students to pursue careers in the nursing field.

Our goal is to create thriving, healthy and vibrant communities and together, Albany County and MVP Health Care is working to do that as the Innovation Partnership!
